Arrested: 22 govt officials, 11 bar girls watching porn

New Delhi: Eleven bar girls and 22 Central Excise and Customs officials were arrested late on Tuesday night in a raid conducted by the Pune Police in Khandala.

All the arrested officers are from the Mumbai International Airport and four of them are of SP rank. The officials were allegedly attending a party with the bar girls.

Police have also arrested six organisers and the caretaker of the bungalow where the raid took place.

Police have indicated that pornographic material, a laptop and Rs 55,000 was seized from the bungalow.

The officers were apparently watching a pornographic film on the laptop and the girls were in a semi nude state when the police raided the place.

This is the first instance of a large number of government officials arrested in such a party.
